A: Here's what you need to do to enjoy your tunes and see your intervals: start your playlist or favorite songs through the Music app on your phone, then open Bit Timer, set your workout and go!
A: No. We've dedicated Bit Timer for High Intensity Interval Training workouts and we believe our app will fulfill that need. We've seen a lot of research that suggests intervals longer than 4 minutes lose effectiveness in the HIIT realm. If you are looking for an app that has longer intervals, look into Seconds Pro.
A: Unfortunately for us, we designed Bit Timer after iOS 5 came out. This iOS does not support background processing for timers. We have changed the app a little with Smart Buttons, so you can hold your phone in your hand and not worry about rogue touches. And besides, we think seeing the time makes you work that much harder!
A: Not currently.
A: We're also working on making the tones more audible. For now, make sure your master volume is all the way up. To do this, open multitasking, swipe from left to right twice, then you should see your master volume control. Crank it to 11!!
